Ata Berenjian

Ata Berenjian was born in 1982 in Tehran, Iran. He studied Visual Communications at the American University of Dubai,
majoring in graphic design from 2005 until 2009. Ata lives and works at his studio in Istanbul.

Ata Berenjian has eyes set on the primal essence of his inner child, wrapped, sparking in a vivid chaotic push and pull of the contemporary world. Trying to curb his subconscious to find sense in potent movements of disorder. Nostalgic feelings of a bygone era pull out figurative ancient hybrid forms and cartoonish creatures. Something is alive
or reborn or transforming, eyes become a cataclysm gazing haphazardly whilst seemingly clashing with popular culture.
